Madeline Y. Lawson

Madeline Y. Lawson is a recognized expert and leader of initiatives for special interest groups, minorities, and women. She currently is the founder and CEO of the Institute for the Advancement of Multicultural Minority Medicine where she works to educate the community to reduce health disparities in minority groups. She is the Founder and Chair of the International Salute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., an annual sponsored program in its 28th year. Throughout her career, she has held numerous director roles with organizations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, National Medical Association, Howard University, National Council of Negro Women, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday Commission, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
