Dr. Denis G. Antoine

Dr. Denis G. Antoine is the former Ambassador of Grenada to China, the United Nations, and the United States, also serving as Vice President of the 69th UN General Assembly. From 1995 to 2009, he was Grenada’s Ambassador to the U.S. and Permanent Representative to the OAS, concurrently accredited to Mexico and Panama.

He later served as Ambassador At-Large and Director of International Programs at the University of the District of Columbia (2009–2013). With a strong background in education and management, he has held leadership roles in various public and nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C such as Catholic Charities, Barbara Chambers Center and the United Planning Organization. 

Dr. Antoine is the author of Effective Diplomacy – A Practitioner’s Guide and Voice of Representation. He serves on the Board of the Young Americas Business Trust. He is also the chairman of several charitable foundations. He received the Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Award in 2008.
